Description:
This old Andalucian farmhouse situated in the hills 15kms outside the historic town of Ronda has been lovingly restored.The cortijo sits in the middle of its own 6 hectares (60.000 m2) of rolling farmland, with good access and stunning views. The site was once a Roman settlement, later a convent and is now run as a guest house by its present owners. The 600m2 property is built around a cobbled courtyard in the traditional Spanish style. Beyond the courtyard is the swimming pool surrounded by a walled garden and a loggia made from the original convent arches. One and a half hours drive of Malaga and Jerez Airports and one hour and twenty minutes drive to Seville Airports.
The cortijo consists of seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, two large living rooms, one large dining room, two kitchens, a laundry room, a carport and several terraces. Hand made terracotta tiles are used throughout the property. Most rooms are large with high beamed ceilings. The house has central heating as well as traditional wood burning fireplaces.
